The extension wand for Bissell uprights, part 2031068, sixteen inches long. It is the wand for the 3522 and 6585 and fits a long list beside them, from the 1240 and 12B1 through the 3530, 3537, 3545, the 3910, 3920, 3950 and 3990, 46E5, the 6579 to 6596 PowerForce machines, the 71Y7 series, 82G7, 87B4, 92L3, 98N4, 9V03 and BGU1451T, plus the Eureka and Sanitaire SL4410A.
Sixteen inches is the difference between reaching the top of a stair run and dragging the whole machine up it. Wands crack at the ends where the tool locks in, and a cracked end will not hold a tool square, so you get a tool that falls off mid-stroke and a joint that hisses instead of pulling.
The replacement locks into the hose and accepts the standard tools with no adapter.
