Part B012-1400 is the brush roll bearing used across the Tacony commercial uprights: 19 mm outside diameter, 6 mm bore, and regreaseable rather than sealed for life. It is listed for the Carpet Pro CPU1, CPU1T and CPU2T, the Clean Max CMPSQD, the Fuller Brush FBMMPWCF4 and FBPHD2T, the Maytag M700, and the Titan T4000 and TC6000.
Bearings are the noisiest failure on an upright. A dry one starts as a faint whine that rises with the roller's speed, becomes a growl you can feel through the handle, and finally seizes — at which point the belt is being dragged across a stationary roller and lasts about a minute.
Replace them in pairs. If one has run dry the other has done the same mileage, and a fresh bearing at one end mostly just makes the tired one at the other end easier to hear.
