Part CM040002 is a crevice tool built to reach where a cleaning head cannot, along baseboards, down the side of cushions, and into door tracks, for a specific group of Carpet Pro, Fuller Brush, Titan, and Clean Max uprights.
The tip is the part of a crevice tool that fails first, because it is what gets levered against a hard edge to reach into a gap. Once the tip splits, air leaks in before it reaches the nozzle opening, and the tool loses the concentrated suction that makes it effective in the first place.
Because one Carpet Pro or Fuller Brush machine can look almost identical to another across a model change, the safest check before ordering is the part number printed on your current tool or the model plate on the machine itself, rather than the badge alone.
- Part: crevice tool, part CM040002
- Fits: Fuller Brush FBMMPW, FBHD1T, FBMM1T, FBMMPWCF4, FBP14PW, FBPHD2T, and FBP_14PWBP; Titan T6000 and T4000; Carpet Pro CPU1QD and CPU2T; Clean Max CMPSQD
- Does not fit: the Titan TC6000.2, which uses a different crevice tool
- Replace when: the tip is cracked, split, or flattened
