Part B625-0113 is the on-board holder that keeps a crevice tool clipped to the body of a Titan TC6000.2 or T4000.2 upright, and it also fits the Carpet Pro CMP3QD, CPU3N, and CPU3QD.
Holders take abuse because they sit where the machine bumps into door frames and furniture legs. Once the clip cracks, a loaded tool works its way loose as the machine moves and gets left behind on the job rather than riding home on the vacuum.
A holder usually gives way gradually rather than all at once. It flexes a little every time a tool is pushed in or pulled free, and it is that repeated flexing over years of use, rather than any single hard knock, that eventually leaves it unable to grip.
