A 10 amp upright motor, part C283-2610, for the Carpet Pro CPU-350. It also fits the CleanMax CMNR-QD, and it seats on the original mounts so the airflow path stays as the factory built it.
By the time a motor is worth replacing you usually know: it smells hot, it whines or grinds, it cuts out under load, or it has stopped starting at all. Bearings are the common end, and they get noisy well before they start dragging, which is why a machine feels weaker for a while before it actually fails.
