665613E is the cord rewinder fitted to the AIRBELT D bodies, shared between the D1 Turbo and the D4 Premium and drawn at position 10 of SEBO's AIRBELT D schematic.

Check the surrounding positions before ordering, because the D sheet divides this mechanism differently from the way other SEBO canisters are drawn. Item 10 is the reel and nothing more. The release lever is a separate line — 8036ER at position 13, supplied with its screw, washer and spring — and that spring on its own is 8098ER at position 12. A machine whose cord still retracts cleanly but whose lever has snapped off needs those numbers, not this one, and buying the wrong half is the usual mistake here.

When the reel itself has finished, the cord just hangs once the release has been pressed, or draws in a foot or two and stops. Now and then the opposite happens and the cable will not stay out at all, creeping back toward the body while the machine is still in use. Neither is repairable in any lasting way — the drum and its wound spring are sealed together, so the assembly is changed complete.

Access runs past the rest of the D electrical layout. Internal cable set 8091AM is position 8, the vacuum motor 8048ER is at 9, and motor cover 8085ER at 14 comes complete with motor inlet seal 8009 and the rewind lever hardware. Cable clamp 5266 at position 44 is the small piece most easily left out on reassembly. Label the connections before disturbing them, and route the new leads the way the old ones ran.
