SEBO Filter Bag Spring with...

Product details

Supplied together with the hardware that mounts it, 8140ER is the spring that pushes the bag holder up onto the inlet inside SEBO's AIRBELT D canisters. The exploded drawing shows it as item 23, among the group of parts making up the bag chamber.

This one is under load every second the machine runs. It keeps the bag collar tight on the inlet neck so all of the airflow is driven through the media rather than round it. Tension fades with age, the fixings gradually slacken, and once the holder is free to move at all, the collar breaks contact along one edge and dirty air slips by. What the owner notices is dust arriving on the clean side of the chamber, filters darkening far sooner than the number of bags used would explain, and suction that never fully returns after a change. Fresh hardware together with a spring at proper tension press evenly on the collar once again.

  • Order code: 8140ER
  • Machines: AIRBELT D1 Turbo, AIRBELT D4 Premium
  • Drawing reference: AIRBELT D sheet, item 23
  • Comes with: its mounting hardware
  • Does: presses the bag holder onto the machine inlet
  • Bag it works against: the AeraPure filter bag listed at item 50, number 8120AM

Be certain which spring you are after before ordering, because this is where the mistakes happen. The same AIRBELT D drawing carries power button spring 8057 at item 18 and rewind lever spring 8098ER at item 12, and all three get called simply the spring over the counter and on the telephone. Item 23 is this one, the filter bag spring, and the other two will not do its job. Searches for a SEBO filter bag spring, an AIRBELT D bag holder spring or a D1 Turbo bag spring with hardware land here. Genuine SEBO, authorized dealership; it generally goes out 2 to 5 business days from the order.
