A grey film building up across the floor by the exhaust vent is not a filter problem; it is a sealing problem. Part 8065ER is the post-motor filter seal for the AIRBELT D1 Turbo and the D4 Premium, which SEBO names the microfilter seal and draws as item 3 on the AIRBELT D sheet.
That exhaust group lives in the base of the machine. Item 1 on the drawing is the bottom casing, which SEBO supplies with its castors and this seal already installed; item 2 is the castor itself and item 5 the microfilter holder. The seal is squeezed between filter frame and housing so that every bit of air leaving the motor has to travel through the media rather than round its edge. Heat and constant compression harden the material across the years, and once it is flattened, cracked or torn, a bypass opens that no grade of media can compensate for - the exhaust simply starts carrying whatever the bag let through.
