Part CMPS-NOZTUBE is the hose inlet tube on the Carpet Pro CPU-2T commercial upright, the short rigid duct where the nozzle passes dirt back into the machine. It also fits the Carpet Pro CMP3T, CPU4N and CPU4T and the Fuller Brush FBHD1T and FBPHD2T.
This is the first place to look when a machine picks up nothing while sounding perfectly healthy. The tube cracks at the bend or works loose at its seal, and from that point the motor draws its air through the split rather than up through the carpet. Socks, wall corners and the occasional screw all take their turn at it.
Fit the new tube with both ends seated and sealed, and take the opportunity to check the nozzle for anything lodged inside while the tube is off.
