This OEM lock washer (Part #A732-3900) fits Carpet Pro and Fuller Brush commercial uprights including the FB-PHD2T. The washer sits under a fastener to keep it from backing off under the vibration of a running machine.
Lock washers lose their bite once flattened or corroded, and a spent one lets the bolt or nut it secures work loose over time. A loosening fastener can free a wheel, plate, or bracket and lead to bigger damage. Fitting a fresh lock washer keeps the joint tight and secure.
