SEBO Handle Release Button for FELIX Premium and FELIX 2 Premium — White

The lighter FELIX colourways share one white handle release button across two generations of machine, and part 7082WE is it. Both the SEBO FELIX Premium and the SEBO FELIX 2 Premium take this button, which is what makes it one of the more useful numbers to have written down.

Pressing the button disengages the catch holding the handle upright, so the machine can lie back far enough to work under a bed frame or a low unit. Failure is gradual rather than sudden. The moulding erodes where it contacts the latch, the action grows sticky and starts demanding a particular angle of press, and in time the handle either declines to come down at all or falls on its own because nothing holds the catch in a fixed position. Because the total travel is only a few millimetres to begin with, even a small amount of wear takes away most of the function.
