Airflow in a SEBO upright has two possible destinations, the floor nozzle and the hose, and one small moving plate decides which of them gets it. Valve disc 7025 is that plate. Fitment: SEBO FELIX Premium, SEBO FELIX 2 Premium and SEBO DART.

The disc never works alone. Suction pulls it down onto its seat; a spring lifts it off again when the suction path is switched. SEBO supplies that spring as set 7028ER, which contains the original 7028 pattern together with the later 8128UL pattern — 8128UL being the valve spring drawn at position 13 on the FELIX sheet, and the set itself appearing at position 17 on the DART sheet. Disc and spring set are catalogued for the same three uprights, so a full valve overhaul comes down to those two numbers plus a wiped seat.

A disc that is worn, warped or sitting on grit does not stop the machine. It leaks, and a leak splits the airflow. The classic complaint is tools that feel gutless while the floor head still pulls hard, or the reverse — floor pickup that has quietly faded while the hose is strong. Air is entering through the branch you are not using. Because the disc sits behind the valve cover, it is worth renewing whenever that panel is off for other work rather than opening the machine twice.
