Axle-type rear wheel for Hoover machines, part 38522091, fitted to the C1660 and to a long run of SteamVac-era models: the C3820, F5835900, F5899100, F5906900, F5912900 and F5914900, the F5915 and F5917 series, the F5918900 and F6030900, and the FH50015 and FH50041 through FH50048CA.
Rear wheels on these machines carry the weight of a full solution tank, so they crack at the hub or seize on the axle rather than simply wearing down. The machine then drags, tracks to one side, or scuffs a flat spot across the floor with every pass, and all of that extra effort goes straight into the operator's back.
The wheel mounts on the rear axle during reassembly. Confirm your model number before ordering, because the rear wheels across this generation of Hoover look alike and are not interchangeable.
