Product details
Clear lens for Hoover SteamVac and upright extractor models, part 39383106. It is the moulded plastic window that sits in the hood and nozzle assembly, letting you watch dirty water and foam move through as you work.
Fitment spans the SteamVac range, including the C3820, the F5837900, F5837960, F5839900 and F5843900, the F5851 through F5883900 models, and the F58419RM and F58429RM.
Lenses craze, cloud and crack. A fogged one is more than cosmetic on a carpet cleaner, because the clear window is how you judge when the water is running clean and the pass is finished. Without it people either stop early and leave detergent in the pile, or keep going long after the carpet has given up its dirt. A screwdriver is usually needed to swap it out.
