Product details
Base assembly for the Hoover CH54113 commercial upright, part 440013314, which also fits the CH54013. The base is the lower body, the structure everything else mounts to and the part that keeps the machine sitting square on the floor.
Bases crack from impact and from years of being levered around furniture, and a base that has lost its rigidity lets the components bolted to it move relative to one another. Belt tracking, brushroll alignment and the seal around the nozzle all depend on that structure staying true, so a warped base tends to show up as uneven wear and cleaning that is visibly worse on one side than the other.
