Product details
The nozzle housing is the moulded body of the floor head on a Hoover WindTunnel 2, and this is the replacement, part 92001286. It is listed for the U8311 and fits the U8341900, U8347, U8351900, U8361900 and U8371.
Everything in the cleaning path bolts to it: the brush roll, its end supports, the belt cover and the suction channels the WindTunnel design is named for. Crack the housing and those channels stop sealing, so air enters where it should not and the head stops picking up across its full width. You see it as a strip down the middle that looks cleaned and edges that clearly are not.
With the housing off, it is worth fitting a fresh belt and clearing the brush roll before everything goes back together.
