SEBO Internal Cable for ESS...

Product details
Intermittent power on an ESSENTIAL G4 or G5 often traces back to wiring inside the machine rather than to the plug or the switch. Part 51118ER is the internal cable for those two models, drawn at position 29 on SEBO's ESSENTIAL G4/G5 sheet.
Internal leads flex whenever the handle moves and sit close to heat for their whole working life. Conductors fatigue where they enter a terminal, insulation hardens and rubs through at a routing clip, and the fault shows itself as a machine that cuts out when the handle is swung, one that needs the cord wiggled to start, or one that refuses to start at all. Because the symptom comes and goes, this is a part that gets diagnosed late, usually after a new cord and a new switch have already been tried.
- Part number: 51118ER, internal cable
- Diagram position: 29 on the ESSENTIAL G4/G5 drawing
- Fits: SEBO ESSENTIAL G4 and ESSENTIAL G5
- Symptoms: power that drops out as the handle is moved, a machine that starts only in certain positions, or one that has gone dead with a sound cord and switch
- Fitting note: follow the original routing exactly, and hand the job to a qualified technician if you are not confident working on mains wiring
The neighbouring electrical parts on the same drawing are the cable clamp 5266 at position 31 that holds this lead in place, the switch 05113, the external power supply cord 5450DG, and the handle assembly complete with cord, tube and switch 5624AM if the wiring above the machine is also suspect. The ribbon cable running from the power supply board to the controller is 0864, and the board itself is 2890ER. Ordering the correct SEBO internal cable by part number matters here, because length and terminal type both have to match the loom. Genuine SEBO part supplied by an authorized dealer, shipping in 2-5 business days.
