This genuine OEM Kirby motor vent seal (Part #119269A) fits the Kirby Classic I CR and installs as a 2-pack. The seal sits around the motor vent to keep the airstream inside the filtration path instead of leaking around the motor.
When the seal hardens, compresses, or tears, air bypasses the filter and suction at the nozzle drops noticeably. Replacing it during motor service restores an airtight path and returns the machine to full cleaning power.
