Product details
Oreck part 430000984 is the front cover of the handle on the Conquer uprights, listed for the UK30205 Conquer and the UK30300. It is the outer half of the handle shell, the side facing you as you push.
Handle covers crack at their mounting bosses, usually after the machine has gone over or been caught hard in a doorway. Once a boss has broken the cover stops clamping, and the handle develops a creak and a little play, which is both irritating and a sign that load is now going somewhere it was never meant to go.
Fitting a new cover takes the flex out and tidies the front of the machine at the same time. It uses the original screws and locations, so nothing else has to come apart.
