Product details

An AIRBELT D4 Premium can pick up perfectly well and still tell you nothing at all. Where the panel stays black while the machine runs as it always has, the trouble lies in the display electronics and well away from anything driving the motor. The board those lamps are mounted on is 8108ER, which SEBO numbers 52 on its AIRBELT D drawing.

Since the board both holds the lamps and feeds them, its failures are seen rather than heard. A single indicator fades and dies while its neighbours carry on. Several go out together, which usually means a solder joint has split at a fixing point that takes vibration. Or nothing lights from the instant the canister is switched on. In none of those cases does the machine stop cleaning, which is exactly why the fault gets tolerated for months. What is lost is not performance but information: the D4 reports its own state through those lamps, and once they are dead, bag and filter changes fall back on guesswork.

Keep the D4's boards apart when ordering. This one carries the lights and sits at item 52. The switch is mounted on 8106ER, a separate order. 8102ER is a third number again, at item 15 of the same sheet. Their captions are similar and not one of them interchanges with another.

  • Order code: 8108ER
  • Machine: AIRBELT D4 Premium
  • Drawing reference: AIRBELT D sheet, item 52, captioned PCB with lights
  • Does: mounts and powers the indicator lamps
  • Bought separately from: 8106ER, the board with the switch
  • Change it when: one lamp dies, a group dies together, or the panel never lights on a running machine

Hold the new board by its edges, put every plug back into the socket it was pulled from, and keep the cord out of the wall while the housing is open. Shoppers find this as a SEBO D4 indicator board, an AIRBELT D4 display PCB or a D4 Premium light board. Genuine SEBO, authorized dealership; expect it to leave in 2 to 5 business days.
