Replacement foot pedal assembly, part D020-0600, for Simplicity S20 and Riccar R20 uprights built with the overmolded wheel. Two pedal styles run through the 20 Series, so compare the wheel on your machine against the photo before ordering; the other version is catalogued as D020-0700.
The pedal is what unlocks the handle and lets the machine recline. It absorbs a foot strike at the start of every clean, and the plastic eventually fatigues at the pivot, leaving a handle that will not lock upright or will not drop when asked.
