Part 561082103 is the brush nozzle motor for the Titan T3600, the small motor inside the floor head that drives the brush roll. It is separate from the suction motor in the body of the machine, which is why one can fail while the other carries on perfectly.
The failure is distinctive. The vacuum still pulls well, but the roller does not turn, so hair and grit stay down in the pile and only loose debris on the surface gets picked up. Before it quits entirely a nozzle motor often hums without turning, stalls under load on thick carpet, or runs hot enough to smell. Rule out a broken belt and a jammed roller first, since both give the same headline symptom for a fraction of the cost.
This motor fits the Titan T3600. Unplug the machine before opening the nozzle.
