Product details
Wheel 5819GS arrives complete in gray black — hub and tread moulded as one piece, with no bearing to press home and nothing to build up beforehand. SEBO marks it as item 119 on the AUTOMATIC X4 X5 parts diagram, and it is one of the few components carried straight across the upright family: the AUTOMATIC X1, X2, X4, X4 Boost and X5 all take it.
Reading the diagram around item 119 shows how the back of the chassis is put together, and decodes what the bigger assemblies contain. Item 118 is the axle, item 120 the return spring, item 121 the clamp. Item 116 is axle assembly 5051GS, and the note against it covers items 117 through 120 — meaning that assembly turns up with the wheels already on it, along with the orange foot pedal 5059OR from item 117 and the spring. Reach for that number when the axle itself has been bent and only the clamps get reused. Where the axle runs true and the fault is confined to the rolling surface, one wheel is the whole repair.
Symptoms are easy to read from the handle. A tread that has flat-spotted, embedded grit or lost part of its rim skids rather than rotates, felt as extra effort on the forward stroke and heard as a tick once per turn. On hard flooring a broken rim can leave a trace behind the machine. On a high-mileage upright it makes sense to fit both sides at once, because a fresh wheel running against a worn one leaves the chassis marginally out of level and puts the difference through the newer part.
