SEBO 175 W Brush Motor with Pulley for ET-1 and 370 COMFORT Power Heads

Rated at 175 watts on 120 volts and supplied with its pulley already fitted, motor 2973ER is the drive unit behind the brush roll in the SEBO ET-1 power head. Having the pulley pre-installed matters at the bench, since it saves pressing one off a seized shaft and then setting the alignment again by eye. It arrives ready to drop into the chassis and pick up the belt.

Because the same head is carried by so much of the range, the fitment list is long. This motor is the correct 175 W unit for ET-1 power heads with the switch and without it, for the DART, the FELIX Premium, the 370 COMFORT and the C3.1, and for the AIRBELT D4 PREMIUM, AIRBELT E3 Premium and AIRBELT K3 PREMIUM canister machines. SEBO lists it at position 128 on the power head parts diagram, at 128 on the DART sheet and at 128 on the FELIX sheet, so the number is consistent wherever you look it up.

A motor near the end of its life gives plenty of warning: the brush slows under carpet load while suction stays strong, the head smells hot after a few minutes, or the bearings dry out into a rattle. Belts that shred over and over are worth tracing back to a dragging motor rather than blaming on the belt itself. Before condemning the armature, check the carbon brush set 05141S at position 129 and the controller board 2684ER, since both produce a brush that will not turn. If the motor is coming out, the drive belt 2923 and the motor pulley 2319 are exposed at the same time.
