Product details
Every time the handle is reclined, a thumb lands on the neck release button and on the cap that covers it. Part 2952GS is that cap in gray black, giving the button a defined face to press and keeping the mechanism beneath it sealed away from dust.
SEBO numbers the button cover 118 on the ET-1/ET-2 power head diagram and 118 again on the FELIX sheet, immediately after the release button and its leaf spring at 117. When the cap splits or works its way loose, the release starts to feel vague: you press, nothing obvious happens, and the handle only drops on the second or third attempt. If a new cap does not restore a crisp action, the button assembly itself is the next item to check, listed in gray black as 1737GS, and the complete gray black swivel neck it all mounts into is 2307GS.

Small parts like this decide how a machine feels in the hand, and a sound cap is the difference between a handle that releases on the first press and one that has to be worked at. Order by finish rather than by shape, since the light gray cap fits the same button but sits obviously wrong against darker trim. Authorized SEBO dealer stock, packed and shipped in 2–5 business days.
