The bumper is the strip that wraps the front of the nozzle and takes the hits, and part A03 is the replacement for the Carpet Pro CPU-2 commercial and the machines built alongside it. It also carries the reference B625-0108.
It fits the Carpet Pro CPU1, CPU1QD, CPU1T, CPU2, CPU2T, CPU3N and CPU3QD, the Fuller Brush FBHD1, FBHD1T, FBMM1T, FBMMPW, FBMMPWCF4, FBPHD2 and FBPHD2T, and the Titan T4000. It does not fit the T4000.2 — that machine takes a different bumper, and it is the single most common ordering mistake on this part.
Once the bumper cracks off or hardens, every push into a baseboard lands on bare plastic. In commercial work that shows up within weeks as scuffed trim and chipped nozzle corners, which is why the bumper is treated as a wear item rather than a repair.
