Part B431-2300 is the rubber handle grip for the Carpet Pro CPU2 commercial upright. It is the sleeve you actually hold, and the same grip is used across most of the CPU range, including the CPU1, CPU1QD, CPU1T, CPU2T, CPU3N, CPU4N and CPU4T, as well as the Clean Max CMPSQD, the Fuller Brush FBPHD2 and FBPHD2T, the Titan TC6000 and the Riccar and Simplicity R10E.
Grips harden, go slick, and eventually split along the seam and start rotating on the tube. On a machine pushed for hours a day that is more than cosmetic: a grip that turns in your hand costs you control of the nozzle and puts the strain into your wrist instead.
Replacing the grip rather than the whole handle assembly is the cheap way back to a machine that feels right to push.
