This genuine OEM foam secondary filter maintains airflow and protects the motor in the Carpet Pro CPU1 and CPU2. As a pre-motor stage, it catches fine dust that slips past the primary filtration before it can reach the motor.
Over time foam breaks down, and a deteriorated filter collapses under suction, choking airflow and dulling cleaning performance. Fine grit that reaches the motor shortens its life. A fresh foam filter keeps the airflow path open and the motor shielded.

- Function: pre-motor foam filtration stage
- Construction: washable foam that degrades over time
- Tip: rinse in cool water and air-dry fully; replace every 6 to 12 months
Seat the clean filter in its housing before running the vacuum. Replacing it on schedule keeps suction steady and the motor well protected.
