Part CM031010 is the handle assembly shared across several commercial upright lines: the Fuller Brush FB-P14PW, the Titan TC6000.2, T4000.2 and TC6000, the Carpet Pro CMP3N and CPU3QD, and the Clean Max CMPSQD.
Every push, pull and end-of-row tilt goes through this handle, and so does the sudden jolt when a cord catches on a chair leg mid-pass, so it is usually the mount that gives way first, right where the stress concentrates. A loose handle lets the machine drift off a straight line as you push it, and one snapped all the way through leaves nothing to keep the unit standing up at all.
The assembly installs as a complete unit in place of the original. Support the machine while the old handle comes off, since some of these uprights lean on the handle for balance the moment it is disconnected, and a machine left to tip over can crack other housing parts on the way down.
