Product details
Mounted high on the handle, the upper cord hook holds the top wrap of the power cord. This is the replacement hook for the Fuller Brush commercial uprights, part B430-0314, fitting the FBHD1, FBHD1T and FBPHD2T.
Hooks break at the root, usually when someone pulls the cord off sideways instead of unwinding it. Once the upper hook is gone there is nothing to wrap against, so the cord slides off the lower hook as well and ends up trailing on the floor, which is a nuisance in a closet and a trip hazard in a corridor.
The hook mounts to the handle in place of the old one. If the lower hook on the same machine has been taking the extra strain, it is worth checking that while you have the machine in front of you.
