Product details
Two grip halves in black, plus the grommet, the clamp and the screws that hold them to the tube: that is the handle hardware kit for a FELIX Premium. SEBO numbers it 7164GSSW and puts it at position 21 on the FELIX parts drawing, on the row written up as the complete handle in black.
Position 21 is really a colour position rather than a single part. The same drawing carries 7164WE in arctic white and 7164DB in dark blue under that identical number, which is exactly how people end up with the wrong finish when they order off the diagram. Watch the suffix as well. Most black items on this sheet end in SW — hose duct 7090SW, cable hook 7027SW, bag housing cover 7093SW, filter cover 7091SW, handle release button 7082SW — while the grip kit is the odd one out at GSSW. Search on the full string.
Grips wear from use rather than from age. The clamp stops holding torque, one half begins to turn on the tube, or a crack opens from a screw boss and travels until the top of the machine feels loose in the hand. Replacing the whole kit rather than hunting down the single broken piece is the faster route, since the grommet and clamp have taken the same years of load. On a black machine the finish parts around it are those SW-suffixed rows plus exhaust filter 7095ER04, drawn on the same sheet in onyx. Fitting the kit as a set also means the clamp torque comes up even across both halves, which is what stops the grip working loose again a few months later.
