Gray black is the finish SEBO applies to this moulding, and 7090GS is the number for it. The part is the elbow carrying air from the hose connection round into the dust bag compartment on FELIX uprights, so everything drawn in through hose and wand crosses it before reaching the bag.
Failure here arrives abruptly rather than by degrees. A fine split opens beneath the collar, or a mounting boss lets go, and from that instant the vacuum has an easier source of air than the carpet in front of it. The machine sounds no different, the bag fills slowly, and every obvious suspect checks out clean, which is why this fault often survives two or three rounds of new consumables before anyone opens the body. Renewing the duct is frequently what brings back pickup that nothing else touched.
It covers the FELIX Premium and, in the same form, the FELIX 2 Premium. In matching gray black the exhaust filter clamp is 7017GS; the hose is 7050SB and the retaining ring with spring gripping its cuff is 7018OR, at item 27 of SEBO's FELIX sheet. Deeper into the airway, 7078GS is the gray black air duct that carries what the brush roll lifts, and 7012AM is the pre-motor filter at item 42. While the duct is out, look over both hose cuffs, because whatever handling cracked one has usually marked the other.
