SEBO Internal Cable for AUT...

Product details
Separate from the run inside the handle tube, SEBO uses a second cable within the body of the machine to link the switchgear to the motor circuit. Part 5299ER is the replacement for that internal cable.
Faults here have two normal causes. The first is chafing, where the loom has been resting against a moulded edge or a warm casing long enough to wear through the outer sheath. The second is a clamp that has become brittle and released, letting the wiring drift into something that turns. Either way the symptom is power that appears and disappears with no pattern an owner can reproduce on demand, which is exactly what makes it frustrating to diagnose from the outside.
Because the cause is so often mechanical rather than electrical, fit a fresh clamp when the new cable goes in — SEBO's internal cable clamp is 5266, and a loom left unsupported will simply wear through again. The handle run is a different part, 5298ER, and it is worth confirming which of the two is at fault before ordering: a fault that follows handle movement points at the handle cable, while one that ignores the handle points inside the body. Fitment for 5299ER is the SEBO AUTOMATIC X1, X2, X4, X4 Boost, X5, X7 Premium, X7 Pet and X8, plus the ESSENTIAL G1 and G2.
