SEBO Rear Bottom Plate for ...
$8.00
Product details
Sold as a finished panel rather than a bare moulding, part 2830HG is the rear bottom plate for the SEBO ESSENTIAL G2 and SEBO ESSENTIAL G5. The colour is light gray to match the rest of the base.
Anything dragged across a floor for years eventually stops being flat. A worn or split rear panel lets the head rock a little and opens a leak path underneath the machine, and both of those cost airflow at the nozzle. Since it comes away with a handful of screws, this is one of the quickest jobs on the whole head, and one of the more rewarding: a machine that had been feeling tired on carpet often comes back to full pickup with nothing else changed.
Order it alongside front bottom plate 2828HG where the underside has taken a general beating, since the two panels wear at much the same rate and share chassis 2822HG. While the base is open, clear hair from the roller ends — 15 inch brush roller 2838AM or soft-bristle 2838GE, released by catch 2843GS — and look at bearing blocks 5031HG and 5766HG for play. Refit the panel with all its screws before testing, because a plate held by three of four fasteners will lift under load and leak exactly as the old one did. Where pickup still feels short afterwards, the airway upstream is the next place to look: filter bag 5093AM, pre-motor microfilter 5036AM or its HEPA and anti-odor equivalents 5812ER and 5425AM, and exhaust filter 2846 under cover 2820GS.
