What the machine picks up lands in a sealed filter bag that caps itself as it comes out, so nothing puffs back at you during a change, and the cushioned airbelt wrapped around the shell keeps the machine from marking trim as it follows.

Motor and exhaust filters are supplied together as Filter Set K, part 6696AM, and the exhaust filter K on its own is part 6608ER. The brush roller inside the ET-1 head is part 5010AM once the bristles go flat.
