SEBO Micro Safety Switch with Wiring for ET-1 and ET-2 Power Heads

A brush roll that is dead, or that drops out whenever the wand is rocked back, points at the small safety switch tucked behind the swivel neck of an ET-1 or ET-2 nozzle. That switch tells the agitator motor when the head is in its cleaning position. Part 0880 is the SEBO replacement, supplied with its lead already attached, so the repair is a swap rather than a splicing exercise.

SEBO draws it at position 125 on the ET 1 / ET 2 power head sheet, again at position 125 on the DART sheet where it is called out as the safety switch with wiring, and at position 125 on the FELIX sheet as the swivel neck switch wiring. Buying switch and lead as one assembly is the sensible route here, because the lead flexes with the neck and frequently gives up at much the same time as the contacts do.

Rule out the belt and a roller bound with hair before the switch is blamed, since both stop an agitator while every electrical part behind it works perfectly. Pull the plug before the neck is opened, and note the lead routing as the old switch comes out so the replacement can follow the same path.
