Order code 5468 is the suction motor SEBO specifies for the AUTOMATIC X4, X4 Boost and X5 and for the ESSENTIAL G1, G2, G4 and G5. Rated 1300 W on 120 V, it arrives with pulley and mount fitted and appears as item 146 on the ESSENTIAL G4/G5 sheet, close to the rubber mountings at item 148 that carry it inside the body.

A motor rarely stops without notice. The pattern to watch for is suction dropping away and staying down after a new bag and clean filters; a bearing note rising in pitch as the unit heats; a hot smell of insulation after a long run; or the machine shutting off mid-job and refusing to restart until it has cooled.
