Underneath the SEBO Duo, a black plate frames the working opening and carries the machine across the floor. Part 3002SW is that plate, moulded to the original profile so the clearance SEBO designed in stays exactly where it was set. Black is the only finish it comes in, and it is the one part of the Duo's underside that takes the full abrasion of every pass.

The Duo parts diagram shows the base plate at position 28, immediately after the brush roller at 27, part 3005ER, and secured in company with the M4 x 10 screws listed at 29 as part 0112. Plates get replaced once the underside has been dragged over grit until it is rough, when a corner has broken away, or when the panel has warped enough to rock on a flat floor. Any of the three changes how the machine sits and how evenly the brushes work across a rug, and a plate that rocks will also let the machine wander instead of tracking straight.
