SEBO Right-Hand Bearing Blo...

Product details

A grinding or rumbling note from the right-hand end of the brush roll usually means the bearing block on that side has reached the end of its life. Part 20117ER is the right-hand bearing block for the SEBO 370 COMFORT, the seat the roll turns in.

The block is working whenever the roller is, and it sits exactly where hair and fine grit collect once they have worked past the end of the shaft. Worn, it drags on the roll, adds load to the motor and the belt, and lets the roller wobble instead of sweeping evenly across the full width of the nozzle. Left long enough it takes the belt and the roller with it. A new block puts the roll back on a true, quiet seat and takes the extra load off everything driving it.

This is the right-hand block specifically, so establish which end the noise is coming from before ordering, or cover both ends if the roller has been in service a long time. It is listed for the 370 COMFORT. Bearing failure is progressive rather than sudden: the roller becomes slightly stiffer to spin by hand, then noisy, then loose, and each stage loads the belt driving it a little more. Catching it at the stiff stage usually saves the belt as well.

  • Fits: SEBO 370 COMFORT
  • Position: right-hand end of the brush roll
  • Replace when: the roller is noisy, stiff to turn by hand, or has play at the end
  • Part number: 20117ER
  • Related: 20123ER left-hand bearing block cover, 20120ER brush roller release button, 20121 release spring

Bearings age at much the same rate at both ends, so check the opposite side while the roller is out and clear the wound thread off the shaft before it goes back in. Anyone searching for a SEBO 370 brush roll bearing, a 370 COMFORT bearing block or a noisy brush roller repair part is looking at the right number. Genuine SEBO component, shipped in 2-5 business days.
