The pump on a Bissell ProHeat Revolution is driven by this flat belt, part 1606428. It fits the 1548, 1550 and 1551, the 1964, 1986 and 1986C, the 2007, the 2806 and 2987, and the 3579 and 3586, and it is one of the three belts in the Revolution Pet Pro belt set for the 1986, 2007, 1964 and 2283 series.
This is the flat pump belt, not the geared brush belt, and it is the one that stops the machine spraying. A stretched or glazed flat belt slips on the pulley so the pump turns slowly or not at all: you pull the trigger, hear the motor, and get a dribble or nothing.
Because it drives the pump rather than the brush, the fault reads as a solution problem, which sends people hunting for blockages in the tank first. Check the belt before you strip the plumbing.
