SEBO Support Lever for AUTO...

Product details
SEBO calls this the support lever and places it at position 144 on the AUTOMATIC X4/X5 parts drawing. Ordered as 5129, it is the moulded lever that works against the support spring in the lower body of the machine, and it is shared across the AUTOMATIC X1, X2, X4, X4 Boost and X5 as well as the ESSENTIAL G1 and G2.
Levers break at the pivot or at the tip that carries the load, and the failure is obvious once the machine is on its back: the lever swings without doing anything, or a broken piece of it is sitting loose in the housing. Before that point it usually gives some warning — a clack from the base as the machine is tipped back, or a body that no longer settles where it should. If the assembly has any years on it, renew the spring at the same time; it is inexpensive and saves a second strip-down later. Because the lever is a moulding working against a metal spring, the plastic is what gives first — a spring that still has plenty of tension paired with a lever cracked at the pivot is the usual find.
