Toothed rather than flat, the 219 3M HTD-II-6 belt carries drive from the sensor across to the bearing block on SEBO uprights. Part 5110 is the genuine item, and it appears three times in SEBO's own drawings: position 154 on the AUTOMATIC X4/X5 sheet, position 133 on the AUTOMATIC X7/X8 sheet, and position 122 on the SEBO 300/350 Mechanical sheet.
Rubber hardens with age whether a machine is worked daily or left in a cupboard between uses. Watch for teeth that have lost their square edges, cracking across the back of the belt, black dust around the pulleys, a squeal on start-up, or a brush that slows under load on deep carpet. A toothed belt that has begun to skip does not recover, and the missed teeth chew the pulley faces while you wait. Order by the 219 3M HTD-II-6 marking rather than by eye, since a belt of the wrong profile or pitch will either jump under load or run tight enough to load the bearings.

These uprights run two belts, not one. 5110 is the sensor to bearing block belt; the motor to sensor belt is 5463, and changing both at the same visit is the sensible move once either has aged. The pulleys they run on are motor pulley 5462 and sensor pulley 5117/1. Anyone hunting a SEBO belt replacement for an X series or G series upright should also look at the brush roller while the base is open, since a glazed roller and a tired belt usually arrive together.
