This replacement release pedal spring pin (Part #1670705000) holds the release pedal spring in place on the SEBO Dart and Royal 7710. The pin anchors the spring that returns the pedal after you press it.
Without the pin, the release pedal will not spring back properly, which makes it difficult to recline the handle or lock it into cleaning position. A fresh pin restores the spring's anchor so the pedal snaps back with the click you expect. It is a small part behind a common handle-control complaint.
