This is the dirty water tank, part 1633782, from Bissell's ProHeat 2X Revolution carpet cleaners on the P3061 platform. It fits the Revolution Pet models 3578, 3579, 35791, 35792, 35797, 35798, 35799 and 3579Q, the Revolution Pet Pro Plus 3588 and 3588F, and our fitment data also lists the 3586.
The recovery tank takes the worst of the job: hot dirty water, cleaning chemistry, and whatever came out of the carpet. Seals harden, the body cracks around the handle or the base, and the lid stops sealing. What you notice is water on the floor behind the machine, a drop in pickup because the tank can no longer hold vacuum, and a smell that rinsing will not shift.
Empty and rinse the new tank after every job so residue never gets a chance to set.
