Colour is the whole distinction here. Part 2304HG is the light gray rear bottom plate fitted to ET-1 floor nozzles, identical in duty to the gray black version and catalogued at position 109 in the FELIX diagram as the complete light gray rear plate. The gray black equivalent is part 2304GS.
This panel forms the back section of the underside. It holds the trailing lip flat to the floor and closes the air path behind the roll, so a worn or fractured panel shows up as a head that rocks slightly and picks up less on the backward stroke than the forward one. Owners often chase this fault at the bag or the filter first, because the machine still sounds strong and the airway is clear; the loss is happening under the nozzle where nobody looks. Threshold bars, stair nosings and door strips do most of the wearing, and a plate gone thin at the trailing edge will not reseal even after the shell is bolted back down.
Move any seal or felt strip across from the old panel unless the replacement already carries one, and check that the plate sits flush at both ends before running the head on hard flooring.
